Thank you to all who attended our first community workshop on Saturday, February 11 at the Marriott Hotel. We had a great turnout and engaged in a productive conversation about the future of the Golden State District. The workshop’s presentation is now available on our website on the Resources page.

We are excited to kickoff our planning effort by hosting the first workshop on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Burbank Room in the Marriott Hotel (2500 N. Hollywood Way, Burbank CA; across the street from Burbank Airport). This first public event is structured as a listening forum, where we hope to learn your ideas and suggestions about the future of the Golden State District directly from you. Please join us and make sure your voices are heard. 

Workshop doors open at 10.15am and we will done by noon.  Please note that we are also hosting a 20-minute guided walking tour of the district just prior to the workshop. Come early for the tour (at 9.30am), or come for the workshop. Or both. We would love to have you for as much time as you can spare.

Note: Workshop attendees will be able to park for free in the hotel parking lot. Please remember to have your tickets validated by event staff.
